While sitting at the beach watching the waves I kept seeing these hands forming a perfect empty bowl. The waves are like thought forms that come and go during that “settling in” part of meditation. I find that the point where the thumbs touch is a powerful focal point to return to, over and over again. If you stay very still there, it expands and so do you. After this painting was half completed I was told to put in these concentric energy circles. The original is oil on canvas, 24″ x 24″, and is part of a private collection.
